Our services are designed to support owners who wish to outsource selected areas of specialised expertise and knowledge whilst retaining some core aspects such as yacht ownership.
VAT Registration & Administration
We advise many clients on the most appropriate EU jurisdiction to register their owning companies for VAT when they wish to undertake commercial charter operations within the EU. We will assist throughout that VAT registration process. Following registration we can administer the necessary VAT paperwork in order to comply with the requirements of the fiscal agent in the country of VAT registration.
Yacht Compliance Review (particularly suitable for trustees)
What started as occasional requests for help has now become a comprehensive review service offering a complete “health check” in respect of a yacht, whether this be pre purchase or for an existing owner such as a professional trustee.
This review will look at the yacht’s ownership structure, VAT status, how it was purchased, its current flag state and operations and its manning/crew to ensure that it is not in breach of any existing or forthcoming legislation, or putting its VAT status at risk in any way. This is followed by a comprehensive report to the owner/trustee.
Yacht Expense Payment & Accounting Services
As a regulated fiduciary business we are able to hold money on behalf of an owner and settle a yachts running expenses and providing full management accounting to the owner.
Crew Payment Cards
We are able to arrange for captains and senior crew to be issued with pre-paid crew cards to meet day to day on-board expenses.
