Darryl’s career started with three years at a local fiduciary business, followed by a period in construction. After going travelling Darryl returned and joined Sarnia in 1990.
With so many years in the industry Darryl has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Sarnia’s business and services and has a principal area of expertise in the very complex and ever-changing world of VAT and its application within the super yacht industry.
Darryl has been on the water in one form or another from a very early age, his sailing experience covering everything from dinghies and ¼ tonners to small cruise yachts. In his spare time you will generally find Darryl out on his fishing boat making the most of the productive waters of the Channel Islands.
Little-known fact: Aged 10, Darryl learned to sail in a yawl-rigged wooden boat, built in 1886 and originally used as a coal boat between Guernsey and Sark.
