The Sarnia Yacht Management team, headed up by Hans Bouman, hold all the qualifications necessary paired with a wealth of experience, to deliver the highest levels of service to clients with the added benefit of providing a one stop shop for all ownership and crew employment structuring requirements for today’s discerning yacht owners. This eliminates the duplication and additional costs often associated with using separate corporate and Yacht Management services.
In addition to legislative and regulatory compliance, in relation to vessel operation and maintenance, manning, health and safety, security and the marine environment, we have a number of value-added services that make up our Yacht Management offering including; vessel & crew insurance, vessel administration, operational & technical support, inventory control, planned maintenance, refit & repair.

With over 30 years in the industry combining time at sea and ashore working on and for both merchant ships and large yachts, Hans has added a new dimension to the services offered by Sarnia Yachts through his position of Head of Yacht Management which he took up in September 2020.
Having worked with a variety of Flag Administrations, Classification Societies, marine insurance firms, yacht repair and construction yards, naval architects, recruitment agencies, legal firms and all manner of service suppliers, Hans is well placed to assist owners, captains and crew with all manner of technical and compliance matters arising as part of the day to day running of their yachts.
